Course Description:

As frontline healthcare providers, dental hygienists are in a unique position to observe and support clients navigating the physical, emotional, and systemic changes associated with perimenopause, menopause, and postmenopause. With many clients visiting dental hygiene practices every 3–4 months, there is an opportunity to identify patterns, support health-related conversations, and refer clients to appropriate care when needed.

This course is designed to help dental hygienists better understand the stages of menopause, how these changes can impact oral and systemic health, and how to communicate with clients compassionately and confidently. Participants will learn how to integrate menopause education into their continuing education journey and gain valuable tools to support both personal well-being and patient care.

Presented by a Certified Menopause Specialist, Registered Nurse, and RDH, this course combines clinical knowledge with lived experience, offering practical guidance in a fun and informative way. Let’s shift the conversation around menopause—because 50% of the population will go through it, and no one should feel like they’re “losing their mind.”
